What we collect
We collect only the data needed to run your account and your website: - Account details: your name, email address and login credentials. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider and stored only as secure hashes — we never see your password in plain text. - Business and site content: your business name, profession, WhatsApp number, products, services, prices, photos, posts and the other content you publish. - Payment metadata: the plan you chose, the Mobile Money number you paid from and the transaction reference. Payments are processed by CamPay via MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money — we never see or store your card, PIN or bank details. - Usage and analytics: anonymized page-view counts on your site (which pages were visited, and how often) shown in your dashboard, plus the technical logs needed to keep the service secure. - Contact messages: the name, email and message you send us through our contact form or by email.
Cookies we use
Offcl uses a small number of cookies, each with a clear purpose: - Session authentication (Supabase): keeps you signed in to your dashboard. Duration: your session. - offcl_locale: remembers your language preference (English or French). Duration: one year. - affiliate_ref: records the affiliate link that brought you to offcl.co so referrers can be credited. Duration: 30 days. On tenant sites (yourname.offcl.co), visitors may also receive offcl_vid — an anonymous random identifier used only to count page views. It contains no personal information and lasts one year. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
How we use your data
We use your data to run the service: hosting your website and dashboard, processing your subscription and payments, and keeping your site online. We also use it to send you service emails through Resend — welcome and trial reminders, order and booking notifications, and payment confirmations — to answer your support requests, and to prevent abuse, fraud and spam. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business content for advertising.
Third parties we rely on
A small set of providers helps us run Offcl, and each processes data only as needed to deliver its service: - Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for your account and site content. - CamPay — processes your MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money payments. - Resend — delivers our transactional emails to you. - Cloudflare — DNS and network security for offcl.co and tenant subdomains. - Vercel — hosts the application serving the pages you see. Your customers' messages may also reach you through WhatsApp, which has its own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
Your account and site data is kept for as long as your account is active. When a subscription ends or you delete your account, business data is retained for 90 days so you can return or export it — after that it may be permanently deleted. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
Your rights
You can access and correct most of your data directly from your dashboard — your business details, products, services, posts and site settings are all editable there. You can also ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Deleting your account — from your dashboard or by writing to info@offcl.co — removes your business and site data as described above. We answer requests within a reasonable time.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, access controls and least-privilege access to our systems and providers. No online service is perfectly secure, but we design for safety and monitor for abuse. If a security breach ever affects your personal data, we will inform you promptly.
International users
Offcl is operated from Cameroon. Your data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure and processed by the providers listed above, which may be located outside Cameroon. By using the service, you understand that your data may be processed in other countries. We choose providers that apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
Children
Offcl is a business tool intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at info@offcl.co and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or in your dashboard before they take effect.
